Nature Therapy
Nature therapy, also called ecotherapy, is the practice of being in nature to help boost internal growth and healing. According to a 2019 study, contact with nature is associated with many benefits, including increased happiness, a sense of well-being, positive social interactions, and a sense of purpose. It has also been shown that we are able to focus better after we spend time in nature.
With our office situated in the heart of Lakewood, we are only a short drive away from stunning views in Forsberg Iron Spring Park, William F. Hayden Park on Green Mountain, the Bear Creek Greenbelt, Lookout Mountain, or Belmar Park. There are endless possibilities on where to connect with nature in Colorado!
Nature therapy comes in many different forms and is suitable for everybody. It can include hiking, walking, sitting in nature, connecting with animals outside, or a mixture of everything!
Sliding scale is also available for this workshop.
